Big Boy Bed Setup

This is what we saw the first morning Adam got up from his big boy bed alone. Before we saw this cute face we heard, "Mommy? Daddy? Morning! Hi Norie!"

Adam wanted the bigger screwdriver. Never fails, he always wants what someone else has! Daddy decided to pass on the $90.00 delivery and set-up and do it all himself. He started after dinner around 7:30 and to my surprise was done before 8. Way to go Dad!

Adam transitioned into a twin bed this past week. The first night he did amazingly well. Laid right down and not a peep. Actually he did this for the first 3 nights, the fourth was a little rough, but Daddy got him to settle down. We are thinking that all of the fireworks our classy neighbors have been lighting off since before the 4th and now obviously after have started getting to him. But, he is now back to going right to sleep, and we have had no problems at all since the last yaya (paci) was lost.
I was concerned that he may have trouble getting in and out by himself, but Evil Knievel Jr. seems to be loving the challenge, and the height!
All in all it has been a huge week for Adam. Big bed, no yaya, and we are still working on the potty training. Our little man is growing so fast and continues to amaze us. He is talking about everything to whomever will listen, singing, dancing, hugging and kissing. He has started counting! We will start with 1 and say the odds, he will say the evens but he seems to like 4, 5, 6 the best! We read and do puzzles everyday and when weather permitting go to the pool or the park. But our favorite pass time is meeting Daddy for lunch!
