Our big boy is growing up too fast! He is now 35 lbs (83%) and 38 in. (85%). He is ALL boy, that is for sure!
Adam is now completely potty trained, YAY! It was at about 27 mths that he decided he wanted to be a really big boy and go in the potty. We only bought one package of pull-ups and ended up giving over half of them to Adam's buddy MK.
Adam loves all things animal and can often be found playing with ALL of them at once. He knows so many animals that even I don't know and the sounds they make! He can count to 15 and knows his ABCs, however LMNOP are still kind of muffled. He loves to sing and knows all the words to Itsy Bitsy Spider, Mr. Sun, Row Row Row Your Boat, and his newest hit, Little Bunny Fu Fu.
Adam is very into reading right now (or being read to). We go to the library every Monday for story hour and a craft and then he fills his very own library bag with books for the week. I am always amazed by the fact that he can remember the names of the books and their general concept after hearing the story only once. The kid has the memory of an elephant!
Adam is an amazing big brother. He is always concerned when Jace is crying and immediately comes running to let me know (as if I can't hear him). And he gets very upset when someone tries to hold Jace, he thinks they are going to take him home with them! He likes to share his toys and read Jace books, and when it is time to relax of an evening Adam often puts his little chair next to wherever it is Jace is sitting. It warms my heart to see these things and I hope that they will be as close or closer as their dad and uncles are.
Adam is as silly as ever. He loves to make people laugh and will do that in many different ways. As it is for many boys, the sound of bodily functions can make him roll on the floor with laughter. It is quite funny, that is until he does it in the quiet of church or in a restaurant. Oh the joys of having boys!
