Go, Speed Jacer, Go

You may have guessed from the title of this post that Jace is on the move. If so, you guessed right! He is a little speed demon when he wants to be, and it has proven challenging since 2 days a week his little buddy Kolton comes to play! If one is going off down the hallway, the other is heading towards the kitchen. Big Brother has been a huge help and him and I will sometimes just sit back and laugh at the 2! Jace is into pretty much everything, which is just the way we like it of course. And he is looking more and more like a toddler everyday.

Of course Jace loves to be outside, he's a Haselby! He loves to play in the grass, look at all of the leaves and rocks that Adam brings over for him to see, and ride around on the little John Deere ATV that big brother has generously passed down!

Since he is the second in what is more than likely going to be a line of boys, Jace is going to have to learn to play rough. And Daddy and Adam have started him early! He has no problems getting down and dirty, wrestling and rough housing with the big boys. There is no doubt in my mind that my little JB will not have any trouble holding his own.

Nothing is safe anymore, which of course means the cats! The fact the Karen and Duke really want to be left alone makes them all the more appealing to Jace. PJ really doesn't mind the attention, for the most part!

We knew he had it in him as Jace has been scooting himself around the house on his butt and pulling up on things for weeks. So when his little friend Kolton got here Jace was all about moving around to keep up with him. These two are so funny to watch. It is amazing to me how kids of the same age just know how to play together, even if they cant speak!

These little arms and legs go pretty fast once they get going!

Not only is Jace moving right along in the mobility department, he is moving right along in the food department. See, not only do us Haselbys love to be outside, WE LOVE TO EAT! So naturally Jace loves "real people" food more than his baby food. He got a few good bites of the corn in with his bottom teeth, but he mostly sucked on it which in turn made me have to leave the table. GAG!

When big brother's away Jacer will play! And play he does with ALL of Adam's stuff. His favorite (and my worst nightmare) as of late is the jumprope. He is fine I am sure, but my sick and twisted mind keeps thinking he has it wrapped around his neck. Paranoid much?
