Another Library Day

Since moving to Monticello I have really tried to get Adam into programs like he was in in Pendleton. We started going to Toddler Time at the library on Mondays, and what a wonderful program it turned out to be! Adam has always loved books and being read to and now every Monday he loads up his bag with new books for the week! He has even held one back (without my knowing) because he didn't want to take it back, and thus paid his very first late fee from his piggy.

We meet our friends, read a story or two (listen), and then do a craft pertaining to the story. We have heard all sorts of stories. Ones about bunnies, barnyards, winter, and spring. Adam has made a little puppy, bunny, barn, and this past week planted a marigold.

It is great to see him so involved as he LOVES to sing and dance and they often do that as well.

Singing a song before the story. He is always quick to participate and answer questions.

Getting down with his new friend Audrey. Mary Kate is still around, she was on a pink carpet to the left of Bud! They don't get too far from each other!

Heard a story about a little chick last week. Adam made his own little chick to take home to Dad and hang on the door with his other arts and crafts.

Mrs. Mann knew Grandpa Gary and Grandma Linda. It is fun to hear her talk about both of them, and share Mom's memories of Grandpa, too. She thinks Jacer looks like him, too...must be the hair!

So proud of his little chick! Mom's been tapping into his creative side as she knows that when he is old enough, Dad will have Adam in EVERY sport he can possibly play!
