First Snow

The first snow of the season brought some fun times for the Haselbys! Bud woke up to see that the world outside was covered in a blanket of snow, and you will see, he was excited! After he and Daddy "dug" us out we headed to the Christmas parade. I knew this would be Adam's first parade, but Brock grew up in Monticello. It was astonishing to me that he had never been to a Christmas parade! The snow made it that much more festive and when it was over we walked around downtown Monticello for a bit with the other spectators, and it really put us in the mood. Hot chocolate when we got home and cuddle up under some blankets and we were all content!
"Mom, I play snow?"

I was beginning to think he may jump out the window he was so excited!

Such a special little person!

We couldn't find his snow shovel since the move, so we broke out one of his sand shovels and of course he wanted to bucket too!

Adam wore Mom's gloves as his were still wet from playing in the snow. I knew it was difficult to find boys clothes, but really, no boys gloves in ALL of Walmart. I am soooo missing my Target!

The emergency vehicles were a big hit with Adam. As were the horses, cows and dogs, OH MY!

Adam and my gloves kept Daddy's face warm.
