Adam helped Mama make Daddy a birthday cake! He did most everything himself as you will see!
So very proud of his work! He was a great little helper and the cake turned out perfect. He even wiped up the little splatters as they were made! A clean baker, just like Mama.
At this point I was explaining the dangers of consuming raw eggs...it grossed him out!
Bud beat the batter so much that it was almost overflowing out of the bowl from so much air in it. I had to cut quite a bit of time off of the clock!
Adam's always loved to lick the beaters, no matter what I have on them...but cake batter may be a favorite.
"Wook, see? Cake!"
We went to dinner for Daddy's birthday. The Heplers joined us at Mo's Irish Pub. Aunt Car and I chose Mo's because of the beer selection for Dad. Unfortunately the beer he had been looking forward to all day had been taken off the menu! Sorry, Daddy!
Lainey Bug LOVES her Uncle Brocky. They have been best friends since she was a little baby.
Aunt Car, "Give me a kiss." Adam, "No! No kissth!"
10 seconds later, "OK, kissth!"
Adam knows that the ultrasound pictures are of his baby brother. He points and says, "Jace". However, we are certain that when Jace comes home as a new human being and not a black and white form on paper, Adam may not be so excited anymore!
Brocky had a wonderful 30th birthday. Thanks so much to everyone that sent cards, gifts, and texts to wish him a great day.
