Thanksgiving 2009

My Mom used to tell me that when she would take her three kids out long ago, we would all follow behind her like her little ducklings. Times have changed, yes, but the new Krintz kids are still following that Mama duck!

GG and GGPA Mitchell ALWAYS have tons to do at their house. As you can see below, Adam found the corn hole set and thought he needed to brush up before next summer. Of course, it was quite a scandal for him to be wearing this Purdue shirt in the house in the first place, so it is fitting that the boards and the bags are red and white!

Adam LOVES food. This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend because his little cheeks are at full capacity! The bib he is wearing here was one that his Grandma Linda made many many years ago. Works like a charm, and had a little bit of her with him at dinner time!

We are very fortunate, as many, to have a wonderful loving family. They are loving and supportive. We started off at GG Daily's house for Thanksgiving lunch. We saw Uncle Shaw and Aunt Missy there, and WOW was someone glad to see them. Not only was he happy to see them, Uncle Shane, Aunt Michelle, and his cousins were there, and how nice is it to know that we can let him play knowing he is with one of the Haselby girls. They've always made it a point to see him and it shows! All of Brock's aunts and uncles were there as well as many of the cousins and it was really nice to catch up!
We spent the rest of the weekend in Monticello. Dinner at GG Mitchell's on Friday. Pa made pork, Dad's fave and GG made tators, Adams! Little man knows how to make people feel good as right when we walked in the door he ran right to GG. Not sure GGPa got a hug until later!
All day Saturday we hung out with Grammy and Paps, and Lainey was there too! We ate, played, baked, and relaxed. There is nothing like Grammy's house, no matter how old you are and who that Grammy is! We went to see Alyssa play basketball on Saturday night. Us Haselbys LOVE our basketball! And love to win! Way to go Lys!
And to top off the wonderful family filled weekend. We all made our yearly trek to Logansport for Chinese with GG Haselby. It was nice we were all there for a relaxing meal...that someone else prepared! No pictures this year as Biggs was over the weekend and we had to leave a wee bit early. We were very thankful as we looked around the restaurant at the rest of the patrons, they were all Hispanic and we couldn't tell if they were talking bad about us!
All in all, it was a great weekend. And that is something to be Thankful for!
