Since the boy's pediatrician is still in Carmel, we always try to make a day of going down to see her. So after we saw Dr. Smith last week, we headed down to the Indy Zoo for 2011 Zoo Boo. We had a great time and were all very worn out by the time we headed back out to the parking lot.
Woody was quite a hit at the zoo this year. We continually heard how cute the costume was, how authentic Woody looked and of course how well Adam played the part. We too thought it was a great costume. Bud may have a hard time beating this one in the coming years, but we will sure try!
Now this was a perfect costume for Jacer. He and Daddy practiced the week before on his Rarrrrr! He got it and was so adorable with it. He even gave a growl to Great Grandma!
We love all the big cats, always have. But for some reason we always stay the longest at the tigers. May be because they are so intrigued by us as well. Super cool that the kids can get so close to them.
Jacer and Adam were so into the dolphin show. We usually don't take the time to sit through it, but the we welcomed the warmth and the chance to sit. Adam asked tons of questions the whole time, but Jace barely looked away from the pool.
We all enjoyed the train ride and the little skit they put on. Of course the boys were in 7th Heaven as they are so into trains right now. Adam has already had me put 2 train sets on his list for Santa.
We were ready to come home after a long day. We are anxious to get back to the zoo and have already planned our next trip for Christmas at the zoo.
