Adam and Mary Kate waited patiently for our Zoo Day at the Library to begin. They looked at books, played on the computers, and had a puppet show. Just like any other day at the library, they were pretty good.
Jace and Stella waited too. However, Jace and Stella were not as patient as Adam and Mary Kate! Jace screamed and laughed as it was really loud in the quiet of the library and Stella ran all over as her Mommy chased her. These two are the more laid back of the four kids. They may be more trouble with their go with the flow attitudes than the older, more high maintenance two!
Zoo Day ended up being a lady with a book and a opossum. The book was about opossums and the baby opossum was there for the kids to interact with. At the end Adam went up to the lady and asked where all of the REAL animals were! Very funny to us, not so funny to the zoo keeper!
Adam sat quietly and listened to the story and waited his turn to pet the opossum. He is always at attention when any kind of animal is around. Yes this include reptiles and obviously rodents!
