Pirate Day

On our walk to find the buried treasure we stopped to take a picture. Adam had just given Mary Kate his map to hold and we took it from her as they were as big as the kids were. Adam wasn't happy about this and in return did not cooperate for the pic. He is so stubborn and strong willed, I am not quite sure where it comes from....

For now they are the best of friends. We are just counting the days until they don't want to play because one or the other has cooties. Then we will be counting the days until they like eachother again, only a lot more!

Dad and Adam after we made a pirate ship and sailed it down the creek. Actually due to the massive amounts of glue Bud used, the maiden voyage of our ship was cut very short!

From the minute we arrived at Pirate Day, Adam could be heard saying, "What's a pirate say? Arrrrgg!"

Sword fight with Dad. This is not a new activity for these two as they will use anything as a sword!

We went to Pirate Day at the City Park. It was fun to see Adam enjoy all of the little activities they had planned for the kids. We hunted for buried treasure, had a sword fight, made a pirate ship, got tattoos, and ate pirate food. Which surprsing enough was orange soda, hot dogs and popcorn. Who would've thought!
