Missing Daddy

Adam has started to take pictures with my little camera, when he is not the one taking them he tends to throw a fit. Hello "Terrible Twos"!

Saying "nigh night" to the boat. That was the only way we could get it into his head that there would be no rides that day. Hoping the weather will let us take him out one more time, even if we have to bundle up!

Adam had a terrible case of the hives last week from an allergy to amoxil. He wanted to go outside so badly, but the heat made them worse so we stayed indoors for several days. Thanks to the cooler weather he is now back outside, but still having some residual itchiness when he gets too warm.

Grammy got Adam this bike, he loved it! He also liked pushing everyone else! We often hear him talking to the cats, "Buddy sit up here", he now says this to us when he wants us to sit and talk or play. Or in this case, take our turn on his bike!

Learning how to pedal is tough. Adam gets that his feet go on the pedals, but the actual act of pedaling has not come. Thank goodness for the handle. Adam knows his left from his right, but when we tell him to "turn" left or right he holds up that hand. We're getting there!

We are all missing our park in Pendleton, not to mention Daddy who is still in Pendleton during the week trying to sell our house. It turns out Mama got a job before the house sold, we have TONS of people thru, but not the right ones!
Anyhow, the Monticello park comes close, except we now have an abundance of stale bread and crackers as there are no ducks to feed. Guess we'll have to take it down to Lafayette and feed Aunt Shannon's!

Adam and I miss Daddy throught the week and always have something planned for when he gets here on Friday afternoons. I thank God for being able to work weekends only to be home with my Bubba (and soon little brother) and nights allows me to have family time too!

Where would we be without our family? Since the selling of the house has proven to be more difficult than expected and the economy doing a number on those that do have an interest in it, we would be lost without our family. Brocky is still in Pendleton during the week. He is busy working and keeping the house clean for the showings. Iam in Monticello with Adam working weekends and a night or two thru the week. We have had so much help with Adam that I would have literally gone mad without.
