Trip To The Zoo

Always ready with the camera, the Gardens at the zoo seemed like the perfect place!

Biggs has been standing and walking now for about a week, he is mobile, and very fast!

Watching his step, loved being able to get down and explore on his own!

Checking out the goats at the petting zoo, this is Mom's favorite no matter where we go. Yes, out of the entire zoo, I LOVE the billy goats. Remind me of Adam, they eat anything.

Adam and Dad were part of a select group that got to feed the giraffe. He was super friendly and loves his sweet potatoes.

Adam loved the seal exhibit, they had him laughing as they swam by him flipping and turning.

Dad and Adam were very brave and petted the sharks. Mommy opted out stating that someone with dry hands had to hold the camera!


Our first trip to the zoo was so fun. We have had season passes for the zoo and gardens since the beginning of the season, and just now found time to go. We love the zoo, and knew it would be a big hit with Adam, and again, we were right. It is amazing to see his face when he sees something new, or even something he recognizes. He squeals and laughs, and will even "roar" like a lion when you do!

We saw all of the exhibits in record time (2 hours) but were not disappointed by the small amount of time we got to spend. As you saw, we fed the giraffes, saw the polar bear eating a snack, witnessed 2 monkeys mating (not shown, sorry Marlene), watched and timed the Rhino peeing (lasted 1 min 5 sec), and walked through the beautiful gardens. It was overcast and a bit chilly, but we decided that as long as we are all together, we can make the best out of anything!
