My Mama's Day 2012

In my humble opinion, there is no better way for a girl to spend Mother's Day than with her babies and her Mama. And that is what I got to do this year. Trains for the boys and flowers for the ladies. It was a great day and one I won't soon forget.

Yes, it is a train "museum" and there are signs all over asking to please stay off of the displays. It is usually only my children that do not care and are climbing on the old trailers and trains.
The boys love the Whistle Stop and the train museum. We tend to spend most of our time outside with all of the big trains than we do inside, and that is just fine for Mom and Dad. Our little motor head, Jace, loves anything that moves so this is such a fun place for him to be. Mom and Dad love history so it's good for us and Adam loves to be with his family. Really, he says that all the time!

The boys are also very into planting and growing. They take after a whole slew of family members on either side and of course it doesn't hurt that they usually get dirty in the process. Adam was given a Styrofoam cup, some potting soil and a pumpkin seed at the last Earth Day festival at the park. That little seed has now since been moved out to Pap's garden as it broke its way out of 3 terra cotta pots. More on Adam's green thumb to come.

Love seeing my boys with their Grammy. They have all become such good friends since we moved back. Not just the Grammy/baby relationship, but they have inside jokes and little routines and traditions they like to follow while at her house. So thankful for Grammy and Pap!

Adam and Jace were very serious about the flower planting. They turned out beautifully!
