What An EGG-cellent Easter

Every holiday has been fun since we added our first little man 3.5 years ago. I must say they are getting better and better as the pure joy that both of our guys show is intoxicating! Easter this year was no different and while I thought JB would be a bit too young for the egg hunts, he proved me wrong yet again.
We started Easter this year on Saturday at Pap's family Easter. We had an amazing meal and then headed outside for what seemed like 300 eggs. The boys were all amped up and ready to go. And look, it appears as though JB knows exactly what is going to happen.
He held onto the plastic bag for dear life. He looked at all of the adults to see if any of us was going to take it away as he knows he is not aloud to have them. He was so cute with it though, and actually, it never found its way to his head!

The kids were asked how old they were and of course Adam answered very quickly. JB held up a 5 as that's all his little fingers will do on their own. Daddy gave a little assistance although it looks to me to be a little painful.
Adam's was ready to go before the egg were even hidden. The boys stared at the box of eggs all through dinner and were at the end of their ropes by the time they were set loose on them.

We always have to much fun with the Jones family and were so happy that dinner was on Saturday! The boys obviously came away with a huge bounty and we had a blast watching them. Adam is all ready for next year!
This was the best take of the bunch and pretty much sums us all up right now. We are wild and unruly and ALL boy. I am beginning to wonder how we will be with our little lady once she gets here, but I am willing to bet she will be just as wild as these two. And just as loved!

Easter morning is always a fun one. We love to see the excited faces when they see new stuff. Adam and Jace are getting to be even more fun to watch as they get older. Adam is really into cards right now and was super excited to see one signed by the Easter Bunny.

The boys both got sunglasses in their baskets, and of course Jacer being Jacer they were close to the first thing he picked out. The kids refuses to leave without a hat or sunglasses and loves to put on other people's shoes.

Adam wasn't as into the money as he has been the past 2 years, but Jace was! Piggy banks are a big deal in our family for some reason. We have been searching for the perfect one for Jace since he was born. Finally while cleaning out a closet I found it! The perfect bank for JB! Uncle Adam's old bank. And while this little lamb is pushing 30, he is in excellent condition and just shows how much he was loved. Since Jacer is just a teeny bit more rambunctious that Uncle Adam was at that age, Little Lamby is on the highest shelf of a bookcase that is anchored to the wall...
Adam is always excited for a new book. After going through his new ones he moved on to Jace's. I love to watch him read to himself, and even better to his baby brother.

The boys had even more eggs to hunt out at the Greats' house. And with Lainey there, the hunt was an EGG-citing one.
Daddy had to hold Adam and Laine back a couple times so that JB could get a few. He got 8 which was just enough and little Lukey was content with his 4, the ones that were left behind.

By the end of the hunt Jacer was more into his surroundings than what was going on. I don't know if he was bored or if he knew that GG was going to give him candy anyways. And as the group headed back into the house, Jace headed down to the dock. This child may be worse than big brother when it comes to the water!
Adam was happy with his findings. He was just waiting for Cousin Tyler to finish counting them!!
