6 MONTH CHECKUP!

WE MADE IT! 6 months, 1/2 a year, we never thought we would get here!
Adam had his big 6 month checkup yesterday with Dr. Smith. It went so well. Big Time is 29 1/4 in long (97%), 19 1/2 lbs (80%), and his head is now actually proportionate with the rest of his body. We have one long and lean baby! We have to put PJs on Adam that have no feet, otherwise the jams are too small. He is developing in every aspect at a normal, some above normal rate.
Adam is strong, getting up on all fours and working on crawling, we think by the end of this week or next he may be able to sit unsupported. Dr. Smith was extremely impressed at how attentive he is, he noticed the smallest things and would try to pick them up or stared at them. And again the way Adam added to the conversation so vocally really impressed the Doc.
Adam is starting to eat 3 meals a day, we have buzzed through the stage one foods, and when this supply is gone will move on to the chunkier stage 2. Adam LOVES snacks, the biter bisquits are his favorite, but he also loves apple flavored ice cubes.
Big Time loves books! He will sit while we read him a book, well, Mommy. She reads a little faster and will skip a few pages to get through it!
Adam is super curious of his suroundings, and very social and a little nosey. All like his Daddy. He can and will talk to anyone! Mommy's a little more picky.
We are so happy to make it to this 1/2 year marker, but are also a little sad as a whole 6 months is gone. We are truely trying to make the most of each day and not wanting to miss a thing with this little guy. We thank God for our blessing and hope you all have something or someone like Adam to bring you so much joy!
