Relay for Life!

It's that time of year again for Relay for Life, and the Haselbys are gearing up. We will be walking in the White Co. relay that begins on June 12, at the Twin Lakes track. The opening ceremonies start at 7 pm.
This being Adam's first year, we feel it is a special one. We are trying to teach him (yes even so early) about compassion for others, the act of charity, and to be thankful for all we have. Relay for Life comes in in a big way for many reasons. We are able to show support for those in need, give our time, and money to important causes, and be thankful for our health and the health of our loved ones and everyday we have with each of them.
We are teaching Adam, through pictures, about his loved ones we have lost to cancer. In the memories of these people we walk, every year, so that one day there may be a cure or a vaccine, and we can all live without worry.
So...where do you come in? Well, you too can show compassion for others, offer any amount of money you can part with right now, and always, be thankful for what you have.
For us, right now, the money part is the big one. We know money is tight right now, and the money crunch can be felt by all. But every penny counts. No donation is too small. Whether it be $1 or $100 it will be deeply appreciated.
