We went to the Indianapolis
Childrens Museum last weekend. We picked Grammy up bright and early and away we went! There were several special exhibits there that we wanted to see: Barbie, Costumes From Hollywood, "Bumblebee" from the Transformers movie, and the main attraction for the
Haselbys....DORA AND DIEGO. As we were on our way to the gift shop we stopped for this picture. Adam was in a hurry to get there as he had already window shopped and had chosen his "present" Baby Jaguar!

The water clock was always a hit when Brock and I were younger. I remember just sitting and watch the time "fill up". Bud was equally impressed with it.

Adam chose this horse when it was time to go on the
carousal. Dad must have been busy helping Adam choose, because he missed the announcement that children under 3 had to ride a stationary horse.
Apparently Adam's horse was a bit wild, as you can see he had a rough time!

Besides the Diego exhibit we were in Science world the longest. And not because of the cool science projects that he could do, because of the water of course. This child will grow doing something with water, that is if he isn't a great sports hero!

Exploring every nook and cranny!

This one's for Pap!

Grammy and I were most impressed by the Barbie exhibit. We could have spent hours there, but after Adam saw the one Barbie he wanted to (Workout Barbie from Toy Story 3) he was ready to head to the next adventure.

"
Swiper, no swiping!"
Of course we heard this the entire time we were at the Dora exhibit. Adam LOVES this show and has learned so much. He counts to 5 in
Spanish, says thank you and your welcome in
Spanish and has learned so much about so many animals. Dad and I have learned quite a bit as well!

He was quite impressed to see Diego in person!

He loves Baby Jaguar and out of all of the things he could have chosen from the gift shop, he chose a Baby Jaguar doll!

So excited to see Dora! But at this point, he really had to pee!

Grammy and Daddy were taking a little break from all of the Dora action.
Jace decided he needed to eat and he needed to eat NOW! He did pretty good with the bottle, and I'm starting to think he may prefer it....

So glad Grammy got to join us! We are all so lucky to have her so close and love spending time with her. Adam had the map and drug her everywhere. I think she was just as tired as he was by the end of the day!

We see this face often, he Dino face, but it was a whole new
experience with the
dino costume.
We thought Dino World would be the hit of the day next to Dora, and it was our first stop, however it was very dark and loud. Adam wasn't too sure about
all of the growling and roaring of the
dinos. It appears that he can dish it out, but he can't take it!
